ACV – apple cider vinegar. (disinfectant for pets – brush briskly over fur as an antiseptic and disinfectant… also for mange and ringworm. Put a few drops in water and helps rid of worms – internal.) If using on kittens, do not use full-force, but dilute 1/3 acv and 2/3 water. It can burn them if too strong. The same goes for other pets – even horses. ACD is great for wounds. Put on a rag and wipe all over – even the tail and mane.

Leave a clock (wind up kind) allowing small tick to resemble heartbeat of baby’s mother… wrap in small towel in corner of sleeping quarters along with a warm heating pad covered enough so as not to harm small pet. Feel it with hands down method – holding hand on heating area for about 1 minute. This will get the feeling of how warm it is, so as to adjust and not harm pet infants. Never give “cold” food to young pets. Warm it – to resemble warmness of mother’s feeding. Observe nurturing feeding instructions “strictly” so as not to harm with stomach sickness, or vomiting. (there are good hints on this site as to foods to keep on hand for adopted baby kittens, puppies or other young pets. It’s always a good thing to have replacement milk, droppers, heat-pad, clock, and small blankets or towels – – for the “in case a baby appears”. The pet care kit is another “good to have on hand” item … for “in case emergencies” when a vet isn’t around – like week-ends or evenings. – – Hope this helps!
